We are RevvGo and this Privacy Policy explains why and how we collect, store, share and use ("process") your personal information (“data”) while you are using our Sites and Services, your rights, and how to contact us. We are the data controller of the personal data processed in relation to this Policy, which means we are responsible for treating your data safely, in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

From the first moment you interact with RevvGo, we are collecting data. Sometimes you provide us with data, sometimes data about you is collected automatically.  Here is when and how we do this. 

We collect when: 

  • You browse any page of our website 
  • You use RevvGo Services including Learning, Coaching and Mentoring 
  • You participate in RevvGo events and workshops 
  • You participate in the RevvGo Community 
  • You receive emails from us 
  • You register and we process your payments 
  • You view and sign contracts 
  • You chat with us for customer support 

You provide when: 

  • You use RevvGo Services including Learning, Coaching and Mentoring

We offer several features that allow members to connect and communicate in public or semi-public spaces, such as Mentoring, Coaching and the RevvGo Community space. You don't have to use these features, but if you do, please use common sense and good judgment when posting in these community spaces or sharing your personal information with others through our Services. You are responsible for the personal information that you choose to post, and you should be aware that any personal information that you choose to submit there can be read, collected, or used by others, or could be used to send unsolicited messages to you.  

If you unsubscribe from your RevvGo account, your comments and name associated with your posts and your profile are retained. All other personally identifiable information is masked or removed from the system. For internal financial reporting purposes, your historical purchase history will be retained. For internal marketing and customer service reporting purposes, your historical customer journey will be retained.   

Types of Data We Collect 

Contact details including your name, address, telephone number, email address  

Financial information including your bank account number, credit/debit card details, Services purchased 

Educational and professional experience information including your schools, job title and employers 

Data that identifies you such as your IP address, login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types

Does RevvGo collect sensitive data?  

We don’t collect any sensitive data about you (like racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious/philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, data about your sexual life or orientation, and offences or alleged offences) except when we have your specific consent, or when we have to comply with the law. 

Does RevvGo collect children’s data? 

No. RevvGo is a service for young professionals, directed to and intended for use only by those who are 18 years of age or over. We do not target children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from any person under 16 years of age.  

How & Why We Use Data  

Data protection law means that we can only use your data for certain reasons and where we have a legal basis to do so. Here are the reasons for which we process your data:

Contract: Processing your data is necessary for a contract you have with us, or because we have asked you to take specific steps before entering into that contract. 

Legitimate interests: Processing your data is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third party, provided those interests are not outweighed by your rights and interests. These legitimate interests are:

We may share your personal information with our authorized service providers that perform certain Services on our behalf. Unless we tell you otherwise, our service providers may only use data we share with them in in accordance with our instructions. These Services may include processing credit card payments, providing customer service and marketing assistance, and supporting our website functionality.

Where We Store Data 

To facilitate our global operations, we transfer information to either Ireland or the United States and allow access to that information from countries in which the HubSpot affiliated entities have operations for the purposes described in this policy. The personal data we collect is processed at our offices in the United States and Canada, and in any data processing facilities operated by authorized service providers.  By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing by us. Where your information is transferred outside the EEA or UK, we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is subject to appropriate safeguards, such as relying on a recognized legal adequacy mechanism, and that it is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
